Carmelo Erlantz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Piara Tittarelli having to interfere. If Viden Birov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience was convinced that Carmelo Erlantz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Piara Tittarelli was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carmelo Erlantz in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Piara Tittarelli prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Reconquistense FC's zone, Nicanor Luzaide stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Piara Tittarelli came out of the goal and Nicanor Luzaide tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Armindo Amado to make the kick off. Piara Tittarelli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enzo Azubeli in the 57th minute of play. 59 minutes into the match, Enzo Azubeli had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Piara Tittarelli. Reconquistense FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Enzo Azubeli was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. The audience was convinced that Enzo Azubeli's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Piara Tittarelli was relentless in the 77th minute of the game.
