The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adam Wnukowski got free with Ali Nejat Özertem in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 10 minutes into the match, Colombo A.C.'s goalkeeper Ali Nejat Özertem had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alessio Mao. In the 12th minute Lauro Neiva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Boruc Furgal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 17th match minute, Colombo A.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manoel Alagoano to maneuver through the defense. Ali Nejat Özertem made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alessio Mao in the 18th minute. In the 21st minute of the match, Wiktor Falkiewicz got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ali Nejat Özertem was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, Wiktor Falkiewicz took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Ali Nejat Özertem to make any attempt to save it. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alessio Mao to make the kick off. 57 minutes into the match, Colombo A.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Wiktor Falkiewicz came free, but Ali Nejat Özertem reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kania Gostyń's Antoni Lech was substituted for Remigiusz Kazanowski. A collision led to Colombo A.C. getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Şehzade Faydalı hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alessio Mao in the 82nd minute of play forced Colombo A.C.'s goalkeeper Ali Nejat Özertem to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ali Nejat Özertem showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alessio Mao in the 82nd minute of the match. 86 minutes into the match, Alessio Mao notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Colombo A.C.'s Ali Nejat Özertem. Ali Nejat Özertem was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
