Rodriguinho Sousa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bento Chandeiro went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in ATHLETICO PRaiano's zone, Bento Chandeiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rodriguinho Sousa came out of the goal and Bento Chandeiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as ATHLETICO PRaiano's Deilmison van Basten slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Beat Vid. That made the score 1-1 after 22 minutes of play. 37 minutes into the match, Aioros FC's goalkeeper Beat Vid had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Deilmison van Basten. 38 minutes had been played when some careless play by Aioros FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Betão Marquez was slow to take the kick. During this time ATHLETICO PRaiano's players had a chance to rest. 40 minutes into the match, Aioros FC's goalkeeper Beat Vid had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Deilmison van Basten. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Deilmison van Basten to strike the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Denílson Magalhães managed to get in a good position for a shot. ATHLETICO PRaiano's supporters rose to their feet, but Denílson Magalhães was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Beat Vid breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Deilmison van Basten in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Beat Vid prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind Aioros FC's goalkeeper Beat Vid, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. ATHLETICO PRaiano's Vilhelm Skoog quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Escobar Kerim, made in the 63rd minute of the game. If Deilmison van Basten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Beat Vid showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Deilmison van Basten, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. In the 68th match minute, Aioros FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kaloyan Chikov to maneuver through the defense. Aioros FC made a substitution. Anton Axelsson replaced Cai Jun Yu. In the 69th minute, Kaloyan Chikov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. ATHLETICO PRaiano's Denílson Magalhães got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Beat Vid showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Deilmison van Basten, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. In the 76th minute ATHLETICO PRaiano were awarded a corner. Unax Mudarra went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on ATHLETICO PRaiano's corner Heitor Maldini fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Beat Vid quite easily take care of the ball. In the 79th minute Ernest Haaland shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodriguinho Sousa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Beat Vid showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Deilmison van Basten, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. A collision led to ATHLETICO PRaiano getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Vilhelm Skoog hit a great ball. If Denílson Magalhães had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 92 minutes, Deilmison van Basten managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ATHLETICO PRaiano's supporters crossed their fingers, but Deilmison van Basten was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nicolas Agerbo hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match.
