The audience thought a goal was coming when Álvaro Recoba got free with Clark Kent in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Clark Kent showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Álvaro Recoba, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. ABC anno 2012 est. 2002's Constantin Maali played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Allan Silm in the 26th minute of play. 27 minutes into the match, Zorros del Desierto's goal looked a bit too open when Álvaro Recoba came free, but Clark Kent reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Tyge Agesen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tomás Azubeli scored 3-0 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Clark Kent, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Allan Silm to strike the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the match, Zorros del Desierto's goal looked a bit too open when Álvaro Recoba came free, but Clark Kent reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Constantin Maali made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Allan Silm sent off a good shot on target. Clark Kent showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomás Azubeli, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Tyge Agesen kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. In the 93rd minute of the match Dalmo Ferreira shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Constantin Maali showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Zorros del Desierto players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for ABC anno 2012 est. 2002.
