Olaf Gall made a great header on Yalapa's corner, it was just that Plumerillo's Abel Matro managed to reach the ball for a save. Basri İhtiyar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacobo Gonzo in the 23rd minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Eugeniusz Koczara in the 25th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Yalapa's Cristo Izel. When Yalapa's Fermin Dolfo in the 26th minute got a chance for a shot 26th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Plumerillo's goalie prevented a goal. After some careless play in the Plumerillo defense, Fermin Dolfo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Abel Matro. The Plumerillo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Abel Matro should have stopped the shot. In the 39thth minute of the game Fermin Dolfo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Plumerillo's Abel Matro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Yalapa booed when Plumerillo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bahadırhan Yılğıralp didn't get a good kick on the ball. Abel Matro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fermin Dolfo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half Yalapa were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fermin Dolfo to make the kick off. Fermin Dolfo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Abel Matro made a huge save. After 55 minutes of play, Yalapa's Fermin Dolfo made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Abel Matro was left in no man's land by his defense there! Yalapa made a substitution. Samuel Tome replaced Marcos Firmo. The supporters of Plumerillo booed when Yalapa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edward Jørnø didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 65th minute Olaf Gall shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abel Matro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 67thth minute of the game Samuel Tome who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Plumerillo's Abel Matro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 70 minutes into the match, Plumerillo's goal looked a bit too open when Samuel Tome came free, but Abel Matro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Abel Matro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Samuel Tome went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-5 was the resulting score. The supporters of Plumerillo booed when Yalapa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reto Knobel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Plumerillo's defense didn't have a chance, in the 86th minute, when Samuel Tome scored to the left of an out of position Abel Matro, making the score, 1-6. Abel Matro was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Samuel Tome showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-7 in the 91 minute of play. After 95 played minutes Plumerillo got a freekick which was hit by Fernandão Peixoto. In the 95th minute, Yalapa's Samuel Tome dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-8. When the final whistle sounded Yalapa left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Plumerillo.
