The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute Franco Bosch shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isaias Perojo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 7 minutes, Alonzo Vera managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. DALO S.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Alonzo Vera was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. DALO S.C.'s attentive Peter Aceituno managed to snatch the ball when Cordario Bazarra made a throw-in in the 9th minute of the game. When ◄◄Lucas Cerro Largo►►'s Franco Bosch in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye DALO S.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. Isaias Perojo came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by ◄◄Lucas Cerro Largo►►'s Franco Bosch. But to his dismay, Franco Bosch quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. With a little luck, DALO S.C.'s Isaias Perojo got control of the ball when Bob Morley tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 21 played minutes DALO S.C. got a freekick which was hit by Peter Aceituno. 27 minutes into the match, DALO S.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Franco Bosch came free, but Isaias Perojo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of ◄◄Lucas Cerro Largo►► booed when DALO S.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Peter Aceituno didn't get a good kick on the ball. Isaias Perojo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Franco Bosch in the 33rd minute of the match. Isaias Perojo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Franco Bosch in the 36th minute of play. 39 minutes into the match, DALO S.C.'s goalkeeper Isaias Perojo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Franco Bosch. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind DALO S.C.'s goalkeeper Isaias Perojo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Peter Aceituno hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Franco Bosch sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

◄◄Lucas Cerro Largo►► were awarded a corner in the 56th minute after DALO S.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Cordario Bazarra took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Cordario Bazarra got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Isaias Perojo quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The supporters of ◄◄Lucas Cerro Largo►► booed when DALO S.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. León Careaga didn't get a good kick on the ball. Franco Bosch recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind DALO S.C.'s goalkeeper Isaias Perojo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ermengol Baena made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Mendoza Tramarria sent off a good shot on target. If Franco Bosch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 76th minute Franco Bosch shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isaias Perojo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 85th minute, Franco Bosch ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Isaias Perojo was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. DALO S.C.'s Isaias Perojo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicollao Narbona in the 88th minute of play. Fausto Respaldizar charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fausto Respaldizar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When the referee ended the match the ◄◄Lucas Cerro Largo►► players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
