Fabian Raphael hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Walmir Catarinense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ruben Seinstra in the 28th minute of the match. Rene Aires who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 30thth minute tested the skills of Albano Hever when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Walmir Catarinense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ruben Seinstra in the 40th minute of play. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Loco De Remate's goalkeeper Walmir Catarinense, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Albano Hever showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rene Aires in the 51st minute of the match. Rene Aires fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albano Hever having to interfere. Rene Aires's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Albano Hever read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. 60 minutes into the match, Ruben Seinstra notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Loco De Remate's Walmir Catarinense. Walmir Catarinense was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Loco De Remate's Walmir Catarinense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ruben Seinstra in the 68th minute of play. Godfredo Luix was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 68 minutes into the match.
