In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Atlético Matorrales's goalkeeper Leonardo Loco, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Atlético Matorrales booed when The Old Boys was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Florentino Dolfo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leonardo Loco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wang Kun Yang, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. The Old Boys's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Florentino Dolfo in the 36th minute. The corner ended in Florentino Dolfo almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Atlético Matorrales's Leonardo Loco did a great save. Wang Kun Yang recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Leonardo Loco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Monte Susanin in the 39th minute of play. In the 40thth minute of the game Monte Susanin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Atlético Matorrales's Leonardo Loco was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Wang Kun Yang came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the The Old Boys fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wang Kun Yang couldn't finish the play. Leonardo Loco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulino Sayvion, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jose Ignazio got free with Leonardo Loco in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Anastasio Caton hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Jose Ignazio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Leonardo Loco made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Jose Ignazio sent off a good shot on target. The audience was convinced that Jose Ignazio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leonardo Loco was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. 76 minutes into the match, The Old Boys's goal looked a bit too open when Ambrosio Damario came free, but Gerardo Guerau reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Atlético Matorrales's Leonardo Loco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Monte Susanin in the 79th minute of play.
