In the 16th minute Faustino Montez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teodosio Ixaka saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Legacy Youth Academy getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Faustino Montez hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaudencio Bermudez in the 26th minute of play forced Sporting Club Victoria's goalkeeper Teodosio Ixaka to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Sporting Club Victoria's zone, Reynaldo Cebo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Teodosio Ixaka came out of the goal and Reynaldo Cebo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Erubiel Gotzon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Teodosio Ixaka tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 30 minutes into the match, Sporting Club Victoria's goal looked a bit too open when Gaudencio Bermudez came free, but Teodosio Ixaka reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 31 played minutes Legacy Youth Academy got a freekick which was hit by Humberto Cordarryl. Leopoldo Gartzen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Sporting Club Victoria defense, Faustino Montez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Teodosio Ixaka. The Sporting Club Victoria fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Teodosio Ixaka should have stopped the shot.
