The audience thought a goal was coming when Pablo Lizzio got free with Joel Santo in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 10th minute Cable a Tierra were awarded a corner. Baltasar Gaitan went to the cornerflag to take it. After 13 played minutes Cable a Tierra got a freekick which was hit by Reynaldo Lauren. Cable a Tierra's Nacho Gonzalez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reynaldo Cebo in the 13th minute of play. Joel Santo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baltasar Gaitan, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. In the 22nd minute, Pablo Lizzio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 23rd minute of the match Leandro Chus shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nacho Gonzalez showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 29 minutes into the match, Legacy Youth Academy's goalkeeper Joel Santo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pablo Lizzio. After 34 played minutes Cable a Tierra got a freekick which was hit by Reynaldo Lauren. 36 minutes into the match, Cable a Tierra's goal looked a bit too open when Reynaldo Cebo came free, but Nacho Gonzalez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joel Santo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baltasar Gaitan in the 37th minute of play. Joel Santo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pablo Lizzio in the 44th minute of the match. The supporters of Legacy Youth Academy booed when Cable a Tierra was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Generoso Tavio didn't get a good kick on the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Reynaldo Cebo to make the kick off. Nacho Gonzalez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Faustino Montez in the 51st minute. Nacho Gonzalez was out of position in the 52 minute of play, and Faustino Montez capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Faustino Montez really showed his touch with that goal: 0-1. In the 70th minute, Baltasar Gaitan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cable a Tierra fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Pablo Lizzio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Joel Santo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Legacy Youth Academy's Joel Santo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pablo Lizzio in the 81st minute of play. In the 82nd minute Baltasar Gaitan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joel Santo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
