An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaston Lucila in the 12th minute of play forced Elite Azulgrana's goalkeeper Dionisio Ondino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniel Igon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aureliano Loramendi in the 26th minute of the match. Daniel Igon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aureliano Loramendi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Pastor Sagrario managed to get in a good position for a shot. Elite Azulgrana's supporters rose to their feet, but Pastor Sagrario was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Daniel Igon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gaston Lucila might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dionisio Ondino. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gaston Lucila ran back to his position shaking his head. Elite Azulgrana's Dionisio Ondino proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Elite Azulgrana from getting a goal against them. Dionisio Ondino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rosendo Bide in the 40th minute of play. Vinicio Luzaide hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Elite Azulgrana's Dionisio Ondino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lindo Trollo in the 43rd minute of play. 46 minutes into the game, Miguel Lesardo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Elite Azulgrana's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Campeones del Mundo the free kick. The supporters of Campeones del Mundo booed when Elite Azulgrana was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miguel Lesardo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Elite Azulgrana defense, Uriel Selmo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dionisio Ondino. The Elite Azulgrana fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dionisio Ondino should have stopped the shot.

In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Campeones del Mundo's goalkeeper Daniel Igon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 68th minute Lindo Trollo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dionisio Ondino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 74 played minutes Campeones del Mundo got a freekick which was hit by Zacarias Lauaxeta. Daniel Igon made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Pastor Sagrario sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 76 minutes, Sixto Oier managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Campeones del Mundo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sixto Oier was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Campeones del Mundo's Uriel Selmo got a free kick in the 80th minute. Daniel Igon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pastor Sagrario in the 81st minute. Daniel Igon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aureliano Loramendi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Campeones del Mundo's defense didn't have a chance, in the 87th minute, when Aureliano Loramendi scored to the left of an out of position Daniel Igon, making the score, 1-1. The supporters of Elite Azulgrana booed when Campeones del Mundo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Uriel Selmo didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pastor Sagrario in the 95th minute of play forced Campeones del Mundo's goalkeeper Daniel Igon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Uriel Selmo hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
