In the 10th minute Bento Chandeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fausto da Rocha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 13 minutes Aioros FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Silvio Asier who took care of the corner kick. 16 minutes into the match, AFC - Curitiba's goal looked a bit too open when Bento Chandeiro came free, but Fausto da Rocha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fausto da Rocha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bento Chandeiro in the 18th minute of play. After having played for 19 minutes, Bento Chandeiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aioros FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bento Chandeiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Zhang Yin Si could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Beat Vid made a huge save. After a rather tough play, AFC - Curitiba's Matouš Carda got a free kick in the 21st minute. The supporters of Aioros FC booed when AFC - Curitiba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luiz Fábio Borges didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 30th minute Jan Bykowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Beat Vid saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Beat Vid made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan Bykowski in the 30th minute of play. Fausto da Rocha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bento Chandeiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. AFC - Curitiba's Fausto da Rocha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bento Chandeiro in the 42nd minute of play. After some careless play in the AFC - Curitiba defense, Bento Chandeiro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fausto da Rocha. The AFC - Curitiba fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fausto da Rocha should have stopped the shot. AFC - Curitiba's Romário Ortiz was substituted for Zhang Yin Si. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bento Chandeiro made a kick off. Fausto da Rocha made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Bento Chandeiro sent off a good shot on target. Beat Vid made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan Bykowski in the 55th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romário Ortiz in the 57th minute of play forced Aioros FC's goalkeeper Beat Vid to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 59 minutes into the match, Cai Jun Yu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fausto da Rocha. AFC - Curitiba's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cai Jun Yu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. AFC - Curitiba's Rômulo Negri was substituted for Jan Bykowski. Silvio Asier kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Bento Chandeiro struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Fausto da Rocha didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Aioros FC. Aioros FC's Ernest Haaland was substituted for Bento Chandeiro. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind AFC - Curitiba's goalkeeper Fausto da Rocha, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 78 played minutes Aioros FC got a freekick which was hit by Anton Axelsson. Fausto da Rocha came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Aioros FC's Ernest Haaland. But to his dismay, Ernest Haaland quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. Beat Vid showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rômulo Negri, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. In the 94th minute, Romário Ortiz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ernest Haaland in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fausto da Rocha saved AFC - Curitiba from getting behind. Aioros FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
