The referee ignored Brugge United's protests and gave Jaspar Van Den Broeck a yellow card for diving instead. Vítor Baia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabian Czeszejko in the 44th minute of the match. Wilfredo Vellito's late challenge caught a Brugge United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Wilfredo Vellito helped the player get up and apologised. Wilfredo Vellito kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match.
