Socavon FC's Sindo Porregimon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manolo Bacete in the 4th minute of play. Maurino Serena stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ermengol Alberete's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. Ermengol Alberete showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. The audience was convinced that Ermengol Alberete's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Maurino Serena was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. Ermengol Alberete sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ermengol Alberete in the 18th minute of play forced A.D. Alcorcón's goalkeeper Maurino Serena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to A.D. Alcorcón getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Bingen Campos hit a great ball. Maurino Serena stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ermengol Alberete's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. A sloppy throw-in by Bingen Campos in the 36th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Socavon FC's Maciek Cash. After having played for 41 minutes, Ermengol Alberete managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Socavon FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ermengol Alberete was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Ermengol Alberete came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Socavon FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ermengol Alberete couldn't finish the play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Belo Alvarez made the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, A.D. Alcorcón's Manolo Bacete sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sindo Porregimon narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Manolo Bacete scored 1-1 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sindo Porregimon, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 62nd minute, Ermengol Alberete made a precise shot to the right of Maurino Serena. A.D. Alcorcón's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Maurino Serena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ermengol Alberete, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Socavon FC's Manilan Elizalde was substituted for Wiktor Dobilas. After a rather tough play, A.D. Alcorcón's Bingen Campos got a free kick in the 71st minute. When the match clock showed 74 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Intxixu Huarte sped through A.D. Alcorcón's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Maurino Serena. 78 minutes into the game, Manolo Bacete recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Sindo Porregimon. Manolo Bacete showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-2. Bingen Campos made in the 82nd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Eusebio Quijana. Maurino Serena came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Socavon FC's Intxixu Huarte. But to his dismay, Intxixu Huarte quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. Sindo Porregimon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Isaac Ortiz in the 91st minute. A.D. Alcorcón were awarded a corner in the 92th minute after Socavon FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Leroy Antunez took the corner. A.D. Alcorcón's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
