Joonatan Schols made an important save on a dangerous shot by Héctor-Raul Manenti Fontán in the 22nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Timmy Siggman in the 28th minute of play forced Amboy FC's goalkeeper Ariel Mourelatos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ariel Mourelatos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Timmy Siggman in the 32nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Héctor-Raul Manenti Fontán got free with Joonatan Schols in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 36 minutes into the match, Héctor-Raul Manenti Fontán had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Joonatan Schols. The Internacional Pechofrío fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joonatan Schols should have stopped the shot. Internacional Pechofrío's Quexal Avina quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Wang Hai, made in the 46th minute of the game.

After having played for 52 minutes, Timmy Siggman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Internacional Pechofrío's supporters crossed their fingers, but Timmy Siggman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 58th minute, Timmy Siggman made a precise shot to the right of Ariel Mourelatos. Amboy FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-3. Timmy Siggman took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ariel Mourelatos. Ariel Mourelatos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-4. Internacional Pechofrío made a substitution. Sarracino Davagnino replaced Lando Cueva. Internacional Pechofrío's Loi Bultes was substituted for Nikolas Ferreira. Ariel Mourelatos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Su Qian Cheng's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. In the 82nd minute, Telmo Lillo had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. After 84 played minutes Amboy FC got a freekick which was hit by Marcelo Kauldi. In the 92nd minute, Cornelio Rius hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 93 minutes, Loi Bultes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Internacional Pechofrío's supporters crossed their fingers, but Loi Bultes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Internacional Pechofrío supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Internacional Pechofrío would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
