The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Alfred Olsson's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ariel Mourelatos firmly grabbed it by the left post. Ariel Mourelatos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pierrot Leenpoels, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pierrot Leenpoels could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Ariel Mourelatos made a huge save. 10 minutes into the match, Amboy FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alfred Olsson came free, but Ariel Mourelatos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alfred Olsson got free with Ariel Mourelatos in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ruperto Modestio hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Through an outstanding action, after 17 minutes, Ariel Mourelatos successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After a defensive mix-up in Amboy FC's zone, Pierrot Leenpoels stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ariel Mourelatos came out of the goal and Pierrot Leenpoels tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Amboy FC's Ruperto Modestio quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Antonello Di Toma, made in the 23rd minute of the game. 24 minutes into the match, Calenzano's goal looked a bit too open when Héctor-Raul Manenti Fontán came free, but Donato Balestra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Amboy FC's Ariel Mourelatos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pierrot Leenpoels in the 29th minute of play. In the 31st minute Pierrot Leenpoels shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ariel Mourelatos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alfred Olsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Ariel Mourelatos made a huge save. A collision led to Amboy FC getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Cornelio Rius hit a great ball. With an all-out effort, Calenzano's Ariel Mourelatos threw himself towards the right post 35 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Pierrot Leenpoels, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Jens-Ola Gunnarsson made in the 39th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Ennio Daniele however managed to control. In the 41st match minute, Amboy FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sture Raknes to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Amboy FC booed when Calenzano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antonello Di Toma didn't get a good kick on the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Héctor-Raul Manenti Fontán made the kick off in the second half. Ariel Mourelatos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfred Olsson in the 50th minute of play. Amboy FC's Ariel Mourelatos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfred Olsson in the 52nd minute of play. 53 minutes into the match, Amboy FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alfred Olsson came free, but Ariel Mourelatos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ariel Mourelatos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Federico Tedeschi in the 75th minute of the match. In the 78th minute Comunardo Chizzo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ariel Mourelatos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 78thth minute of the game Comunardo Chizzo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Amboy FC's Ariel Mourelatos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With his leg Donato Balestra managed to avoid a goal in the 83rdth minute, when Amboy FC's Mario Alberto Abascal fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 88th minute of the match Calenzano got a corner. Amboy FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Antonello Di Toma ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Amboy FC's goalie and right to Yaniusky Pardo. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Amboy FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Amboy FC's Ariel Mourelatos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Comunardo Chizzo in the 91st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ruperto Modestio in the 95th minute of play forced Calenzano's goalkeeper Donato Balestra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
