Thanks to some nice moves José Alejandro Depsch could shoot a difficult shot in the 20th minute, which Tiaguinho Pirani however easily saved by the left post. A collision led to C.D. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Xulián Farias during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When Albino Ovalle fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored C.D. Pepino’s's protests and gave Albino Ovalle a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of PATO BRANCO FC booed when C.D. Pepino’s was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albino Ovalle didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tiaguinho Pirani stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of César Gallardo's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. PATO BRANCO FC's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because C.D. Pepino’s had won, even though PATO BRANCO FC had held more of the ball.
