A collision led to Palestra do Interior getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Percival Cruz hit a great ball. With a little luck, Palestra do Interior's Allan Varela got control of the ball when Ali Hamza Hanefi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Christian Abbiati made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Romário Barbosa in the 9th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ali Hamza Hanefi got free with Allan Varela in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 11thth minute of the game Paulo Godoi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but KANONIERZY's Christian Abbiati was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zbyszek Ferfecki in the 12th minute of play forced Palestra do Interior's goalkeeper Allan Varela to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 13th minute, one of Palestra do Interior:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Palestra do Interior. Allan Varela had in the 15thth minute some difficulties stopping Ali Hamza Hanefi's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Paulo Godoi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Paulo Godoi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Christian Abbiati was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. Through an outstanding action, after 25 minutes, Allan Varela successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Romário Barbosa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Abbiati having to interfere. Palestra do Interior's Allan Varela played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ime Mavros in the 34th minute of play. Allan Varela made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ali Hamza Hanefi in the 34th minute. Christian Abbiati made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulo Godoi in the 36th minute of play. Paulo Godoi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Christian Abbiati having to make a save. 37 minutes into the match, KANONIERZY's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo Godoi came free, but Christian Abbiati reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Paulo Godoi in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Christian Abbiati prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 40th minute Zbyszek Ferfecki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Allan Varela saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 41 played minutes KANONIERZY got a freekick which was hit by Ime Mavros. After a rather tough play, Palestra do Interior's Eugênio Alagoano got a free kick in the 43rd minute. In the 45th minute, Gösta Söderberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The KANONIERZY fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Christian Abbiati came out of the goal in the 48th minute to try and stop a shot by Palestra do Interior's Paulo Godoi. But to his dismay, Paulo Godoi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Paulo Godoi made a kick off. Allan Varela made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivo Chaves in the 53rd minute of play. In the 54th minute, Ali Hamza Hanefi made a precise shot to the right of Allan Varela. Palestra do Interior's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Through an outstanding action, after 61 minutes, Christian Abbiati successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Romário Barbosa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Christian Abbiati made a huge save. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind KANONIERZY's goalkeeper Christian Abbiati, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gösta Söderberg in the 67th minute of play forced Palestra do Interior's goalkeeper Allan Varela to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Palestra do Interior's Evripidis Picoulas was substituted for Eugênio Alagoano. 吴洲坚 who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 77thth minute tested the skills of Christian Abbiati when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in KANONIERZY's zone, Vitório Lago stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Christian Abbiati came out of the goal and Vitório Lago tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 87 minutes into the match, Palestra do Interior's goal looked a bit too open when Ime Mavros came free, but Allan Varela reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ime Mavros in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Allan Varela saved Palestra do Interior from getting behind. In the 89th minute of the match Francisco dos Santos shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Allan Varela showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If 吴洲坚 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. KANONIERZY's Christian Abbiati played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vitório Lago in the 95th minute of play. 吴洲坚s short, quick shot in the 98thth minute got Christian Abbiati to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. KANONIERZY's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
