Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Orhun Ulutay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Milagros Fraga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. KAOS's Ahmet Danış Keçecioğlu was substituted for Derviş Göçmen. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Danış Keçecioğlu in the 68th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rafael Gallo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Alfredo Duro came out and tried to block the shot, but Rafael Gallo slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 94th minute. Peru's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
