Tomas Illescas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but 郭锋昆 made a huge save. The supporters of Venezuela booed when 【№1】☆冰谷☆〓战狼〓荆楚 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rony Aguiar didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 41st minute, Camilo Gaos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 45 minutes, Jose Correa took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for 郭锋昆 to make any attempt to save it. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for 汪宽益 to strike the kick off in the second half. 郭锋昆 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 67th minute of the match. Chanandeep Snow received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jonathan Ferrant came out and tried to block the shot, but Chanandeep Snow slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 76th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patricio Costa in the 87th minute of play forced 【№1】☆冰谷☆〓战狼〓荆楚's goalkeeper 郭锋昆 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Venezuela's Joshua Secada was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but 郭锋昆 in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Rony Aguiar's late challenge caught a Venezuela's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rony Aguiar helped the player get up and apologised. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
