In the 16th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Omurtag Stoin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Omurtag Stoin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. In the 26th minute, Jose Correa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 尤钢剑 could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Illescas couldn't finish the play. If 尤钢剑 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santiago Subirada, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tomas Illescas's late challenge caught a 中职联-山东泰山's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tomas Illescas helped the player get up and apologised. Tomas Illescas hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. 俞威政 hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Jose Correa hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santiago Subirada in the 91st minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 95 minutes into the match, 尤钢剑 notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. 中职联-山东泰山 had won after a very even match.
