The corner ended in Tomas Illescas almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Pannekoeken's Elbert Haar did a great save. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Haroldo Weather kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. Haroldo Weather took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. 14 minutes into the game, Haroldo Weather cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 23 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Patricio Costa. The supporters of Pannekoeken booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patricio Costa didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 31st match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Gaos to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 32 minutes, Haroldo Weather managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pannekoeken's supporters crossed their fingers, but Haroldo Weather was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pannekoeken's Adam Kock quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Guillermo Mariano, made in the 41st minute of the game. Pannekoeken's Haroldo Weather got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Haroldo Weather to strike the kick off in the second half. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Haroldo Weather in the 55th minute of the match. Haroldo Weather charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Haroldo Weather the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Camilo Gaos kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. After having played for 65 minutes, Ham Kaas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pannekoeken's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ham Kaas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Haroldo Weather, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 70th minute, Hugon Wolicki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Pannekoeken getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Fernando Geraets hit a great ball. In the 80th minute of the match, Haroldo Weather tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jonathan Ferrant saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Haroldo Weather received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jonathan Ferrant came out and tried to block the shot, but Haroldo Weather slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 81st minute. In the 85th minute, Haroldo Weather made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. With splendid footwork Haroldo Weather arrived in front of goal to shoot 0-6 by the left pole in the game's 89th minute.
