Mario Fernandino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frigyes Rigó having to interfere. The supporters of Stade Ygossais booed when Bolivia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfonso de la Cruz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 37 minutes into the game, Joshua Miralles was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bolivia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Stade Ygossais the free kick. Joshua Miralles kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mario Fernandino during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Stade Ygossais reached it. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mario Fernandino to make the kick off. Omar Yousfi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Camilo Freixa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Stade Ygossais's Cédric Louison, in the 71st minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Stade Ygossais. Mario Fernandino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Frigyes Rigó tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 78th minute Jackson Plet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Camilo Freixa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Tõnu Mahlaoks had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Bolivia defense, Cédric Louison kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Camilo Freixa. The Bolivia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Camilo Freixa should have stopped the shot. Omar Yousfi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Camilo Freixa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. If Cédric Louison had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 88 minutes into the match, Tõnu Mahlaoks had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Camilo Freixa. Bolivia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tõnu Mahlaoks was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Camilo Freixa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Omar Yousfi, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. 96 minutes into the game, Alejandro Villa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bolivia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Stade Ygossais the free kick. After a rather tough play, Bolivia's Alejandro Villa got a free kick in the 96th minute. When the referee ended the match the Stade Ygossais players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
