Andreas Korpetis's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 18thth minute, Dante Lacasa skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. A collision led to Vakoufi Utd getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Birkan Balıkçı hit a great ball. After 20 minutes of play, Vakoufi Utd's Andreas Korpetis made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dante Lacasa was left in no man's land by his defense there! 24 minutes into the match, Vakoufi Utd's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Charis Raftopoulos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 24 minutes into the match, Joel Gaona notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Vakoufi Utd's Charis Raftopoulos. Charis Raftopoulos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Konstantinos Tsevas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dante Lacasa having to interfere. Charis Raftopoulos came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Mexico's Luca Zorita. But to his dismay, Luca Zorita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andreas Korpetis in the 35th minute of the match. In the 36th minute Vakoufi Utd were awarded a corner. Konstantinos Tsevas went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Mexico's goalie and right to Birkan Balıkçı. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Mexico's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Dante Lacasa was out of position in the 43 minute of play, and Andreas Korpetis capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Andreas Korpetis really showed his touch with that goal: 2-3. Luca Rouco kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. The Vakoufi Utd players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Mexico were winning 2-3.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Andreas Korpetis made a kick off. The supporters of Mexico booed when Vakoufi Utd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aykut Berksan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vakoufi Utd's Charis Raftopoulos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 61st minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lautaro Mancebo got free with Charis Raftopoulos in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 72nd minute of play forced Vakoufi Utd's goalkeeper Charis Raftopoulos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andreas Korpetis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luca Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Charis Raftopoulos having to interfere. Birkan Balıkçı's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dante Lacasa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Birkan Balıkçı, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Konstantinos Tsevas in the 86th minute of play. Vakoufi Utd's Charis Raftopoulos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Vakoufi Utd from getting a goal against them. In the 89th minute of the match Mexico got a corner. Vakoufi Utd's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joel Gaona ran over to the corner to take the kick. Lautaro Mancebo made a great header on Mexico's corner, it was just that Vakoufi Utd's Charis Raftopoulos managed to reach the ball for a save. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Konstantinos Tsevas in the 90th minute of the match. In the 91st minute, Birkan Balıkçı hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 93rd minute Andreas Korpetis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alberto Tafalla was extremely unlucky when he, in the 94th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The Vakoufi Utd supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Mexico's performance. The match ended with a win for Mexico.
