After 12 played minutes Pannekoeken got a freekick which was hit by Matias Foyo. Ham Kaas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 23 minutes into the match, Pannekoeken's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Elbert Haar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 94th minute, Otto Hovenkamp hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Daniel Zorita's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 95thth minute, Elbert Haar skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When the final whistle sounded Ecuador left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Pannekoeken.
