Arif Egemen Kural took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomas Illescas got free with Arif Egemen Kural in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Hakan Avcu in the 73rd minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Bakırköy SK's Ali Atıf Eroğlu. But to his dismay, Ali Atıf Eroğlu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 78th minute, Şenel Batır left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bakırköy SK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1.
