Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Axel Tasis made the kick off which started today's match. In the 7th minute, Alphan Danış hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 9th minute, Necip Çakman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alphan Danış could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Benito Sanz made a huge save. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Eliseo Noboa hit a great ball. Necip Çakman struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Benito Sanz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nevşehir Juniors. Necip Çakman hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. After 27 played minutes Nevşehir Juniors got a freekick which was hit by Varol Yağızkan. Varol Yağızkan hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. After 29 played minutes Nevşehir Juniors got a freekick which was hit by Gazanfer Özdemir. Axel Tasis, 30 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Namık Kemal Özakay, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Thanks to some nice moves Alphan Danış could shoot a difficult shot in the 41st minute, which Benito Sanz however easily saved by the left post. In the 43rd minute, Costa Rica's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Alphan Danış fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Alphan Danış sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Nevşehir Juniors's Necip Çakman got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nevşehir Juniors's Göksun Gülen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Axel Tasis in the 57th minute of play. 62 minutes into the game, Alphan Danış cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Benito Sanz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Abel Carballo got a free kick in the 64th minute. If Alphan Danış had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Nevşehir Juniors's Namık Kemal Özakay. But to his dismay, Namık Kemal Özakay quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Lautaro Puig hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Lautaro Puig hit a great ball. Namık Kemal Özakay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gazanfer Özdemir fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Necip Çakman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nevşehir Juniors's supporters rose to their feet, but Necip Çakman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benito Sanz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
