Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mihnea Gârleanu went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 17th play minute Mihnea Gârleanu came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. 2-1. Jose Correa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Ivan Neghină came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the ABK Black Warriors73 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ivan Neghină couldn't finish the play. Ivan Neghină fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Dan Burdulea charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dan Burdulea the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, ABK Black Warriors73's Florin Ciuvică got a free kick in the 28th minute. 32 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Mihnea Gârleanu came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leontin Nedelciu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. Patricio Costa struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Angelo Baciadonne didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela.

ABK Black Warriors73 made a substitution. Basarab Mihăilescu replaced Ivan Neghină. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mihnea Gârleanu made a kick off. Mihnea Gârleanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tomas Illescas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Basarab Mihăilescu in the 59th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leontin Nedelciu in the 60th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 62 minutes into the game, ABK Black Warriors73's Valeriu Zoreanu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. ABK Black Warriors73's Horia Călimanescu was substituted for Mihnea Gârleanu. In the 66th minute, Patricio Costa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 67th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rigoberto Mina to maneuver through the defense. After 95th play minutes Horia Călimanescu shot 4-1, a short shot which went by Jonathan Ferrant and just under the crossbar into goal. The supporters of Venezuela booed when ABK Black Warriors73 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 98 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alex Lera didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The ABK Black Warriors73 fans cheered their team off the field, for while Venezuela had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
