Francisco Nesor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 6th minute of the match. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Reinaldo Castro in the 8th minute. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Felix Montes hit a great ball. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicolas Napier in the 10th minute of play. Francisco Nesor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Francisco Nesor breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 31st minute of play forced Metal Juniors's goalkeeper Francisco Nesor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luis Andino kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Francisco Nesor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniel Zorita stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 51 minutes, Miguel Sotero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Metal Juniors's supporters crossed their fingers, but Miguel Sotero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Francisco Nesor made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Sancho in the 54th minute. Nicolas Napier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Metal Juniors's Nicolas Napier. But to his dismay, Nicolas Napier quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Felix Montes hit a great ball. Felix Montes hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. After having played for 69 minutes, Reinaldo Castro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Metal Juniors's supporters crossed their fingers, but Reinaldo Castro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 70 minutes into the match, Sergio Dennis notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Ecuador's Julio Vera. Julio Vera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Francisco Nesor made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Sancho in the 82nd minute. Julio Vera didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sergio Dennis went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Metal Juniors's Sergio Dennis got a free kick in the 90th minute. The Metal Juniors support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
