Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Garth Brough made the kick off and thus started the match. Maximiliano Escribano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 2nd minute. Keylor Navas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Uruguay getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Camilo Covarrubias hit a great ball. Ellis Hoskin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Joaquin Gayoso made a huge save. Garth Brough could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Joaquin Gayoso made a huge save. 13 minutes in the game Jorge Sainz did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Camilo Franco. Garth Brough's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Joaquin Gayoso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. 14 minutes into the match, Garth Brough notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso. Joaquin Gayoso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Ellis Hoskin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Australian Youth Academy's supporters rose to their feet, but Ellis Hoskin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joaquin Gayoso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 24th match minute, Uruguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorge Sainz to maneuver through the defense. If Garth Brough had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 26 minutes into the match, Uruguay's goal looked a bit too open when Garth Brough came free, but Joaquin Gayoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Garth Brough could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Joaquin Gayoso made a huge save. Garth Brough sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 35th match minute, Uruguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorge Sainz to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso got control of the ball when Garth Brough tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Uruguay's zone, Garth Brough stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joaquin Gayoso came out of the goal and Garth Brough tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 41st minute, Australian Youth Academy's Garth Brough dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-0. In the 44th minute of the game Jorge Sainz made a throw-in which Camilo Franco played forward. Garth Brough kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 49thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Uruguay's keeper Joaquin Gayoso was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

Ellis Hoskin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Garth Brough in the 62nd minute of play forced Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joaquin Gayoso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Garth Brough went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. Australian Youth Academy's Keylor Navas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximiliano Escribano in the 68th minute of play. In the 75th minute Australian Youth Academy were awarded a corner. Rufus Roach went to the cornerflag to take it. Jason Butterfield kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Joaquin Gayoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Garth Brough, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 80th minute Ellis Hoskin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquin Gayoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 82 minutes Uruguay's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Rufus Roach who took care of the corner kick. Australian Youth Academy's Rufus Roach was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Joaquin Gayoso in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After 86 played minutes Uruguay got a freekick which was hit by Bruno Beldad. Joaquin Gayoso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Garth Brough went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. Jorge Sainz made in the 93rd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Francisco Seco however managed to control. With 94 minutes on the clock, Camilo Covarrubias commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 94 minutes into the game, one of Uruguay:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Australian Youth Academy had won after a very even match.
