Ricardo Zorita was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Stade Ygossais getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Jean-Philippe Barge hit a great ball. Stade Ygossais's Frigyes Rigó played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Moises Fernandino in the 23rd minute of play. El Salvador were awarded a corner in the 25th minute after Stade Ygossais's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Mateo Leguizamo took the corner. After 28 minutes of play, Stade Ygossais's Bastien Tassart made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ricardo Zorita was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Stade Ygossais's Omar Yousfi got a free kick in the 31st minute. In the 36th minute Bastien Tassart shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Zorita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bastien Tassart sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Tõnu Mahlaoks's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ricardo Zorita was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save El Salvador from getting a goal against them. 64 minutes into the game, one of El Salvador:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind El Salvador's goalkeeper Ricardo Zorita, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 70th match minute, El Salvador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valentino Ferrant to maneuver through the defense. In the 78th minute, Abram Luque ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Frigyes Rigó was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-5. In the 87th minute, Marco Tamayo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. El Salvador's Moises Fernandino got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tõnu Mahlaoks fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Zorita having to interfere. Ricardo Zorita took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tõnu Mahlaoks, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Tõnu Mahlaoks had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 99th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle sounded Stade Ygossais left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than El Salvador.
