Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Daniel Zorita got the match started through his kick off. In the 3rd minute, Lekko Spoceni's Sang Gama ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Julio Vera. Julio Vera yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Luis Andino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mikolaj Szotek having to interfere. Mikolaj Szotek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Andino in the 8th minute of play. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Camilo Gisbert hit a great ball. Sang Gama's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. Julio Vera didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sang Gama went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Mikolaj Szotek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felix Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mikolaj Szotek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 35th minute of play. After having played for 38 minutes, Sang Gama managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lekko Spoceni's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sang Gama was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Sang Gama stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Sang Gama tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 44 minutes into the match, Lekko Spoceni's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Mikolaj Szotek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sang Gama was the one to do the kick off. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sang Gama in the 51st minute of play. In the 53rd minute, Sang Gama made a precise shot to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. The supporters of Lekko Spoceni booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camilo Gisbert didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 58th minute of the match Desiderio Ibañez sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Julio Vera skillfully saved the ball. But to his dismay, Felix Montenegro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Lekko Spoceni made a substitution. Marc-André Van Bastén replaced Sang Gama. Marc-André Van Bastén's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. The Lekko Spoceni fans' excitement grew in the 77th match minute when Lekko Spoceni's Marc-André Van Bastén looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 81st minute of the match Lekko Spoceni got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Desiderio Ibañez ran over to the corner to take the kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marc-André Van Bastén in the 87th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 89th minute of the match Lekko Spoceni got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Desiderio Ibañez ran over to the corner to take the kick. Marc-André Van Bastén might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Julio Vera. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marc-André Van Bastén ran back to his position shaking his head. 91 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Marc-André Van Bastén came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Marc-André Van Bastén's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game. The Lekko Spoceni players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
