FC Shed End's Gustav Wållander was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Dante Lacasa in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Stig-Ove Hedkvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luca Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Luca Zorita's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Stig-Ove Hedkvist was relentless in the 5th minute of the game. After 11 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Alberto Tafalla. In the 23rd minute, FC Shed End's Aykutalp Ezgü ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tobias Holmberg during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Mexico booed when FC Shed End was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tobias Holmberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 26 played minutes FC Shed End got a freekick which was hit by Gustav Wållander. Stig-Ove Hedkvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Stig-Ove Hedkvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 31st minute of the match. Mexico's Dante Lacasa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Mexico from getting a goal against them. The supporters of FC Shed End booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Facundo Cadaval didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 45th minute, Stig Hafström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 46th match minute, Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lorenzo Cazalla to maneuver through the defense. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Alberto Tafalla managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mexico's supporters rose to their feet, but Alberto Tafalla was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stig-Ove Hedkvist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the FC Shed End defense, Alberto Tafalla kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Stig-Ove Hedkvist. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alberto Tafalla got free with Stig-Ove Hedkvist in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aykutalp Ezgü in the 69th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 72nd minute Aykutalp Ezgü shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 1-2 became the score in the 73rd minute when Facundo Cadaval elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silvestre Gar, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Silvestre Gar hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. The FC Shed End fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Mexico were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
