The goal made the score 0-1. 姜珂益 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hector Covarrubias in the 68th minute of the match. Paraguay's Jacobo Nores proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Paraguay from getting a goal against them. 余瑜鹰 kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. If 董义松 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Paraguay lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
