Adriano De Lellis started the match with the kick off. Isidoro Sarmiento received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Rahmi Vala tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 5 minutes of play, Panama's Tomas Berganza made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rahmi Vala was left in no man's land by his defense there! GÖZTEPE SK's Rahmi Vala played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abraham Alguacil in the 9th minute of play. Panama's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Herbert Okropny was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Isidoro Sarmiento kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Marcos Cotilla made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Adriano De Lellis sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 46 minutes, Isidoro Sarmiento managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Panama's supporters crossed their fingers, but Isidoro Sarmiento was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, GÖZTEPE SK's Orbay Samin got a free kick in the 48th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Tomas Berganza made the kick off in the second half. Marcos Cotilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hadi Tunç in the 52nd minute of the match. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hadi Tunç in the 54th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Panama's Miguel Miralles got a free kick in the 55th minute. Adriano De Lellis's late challenge caught a Panama's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Adriano De Lellis helped the player get up and apologised. In the 73rd minute, Adriano De Lellis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tomas Berganza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, GÖZTEPE SK's Rahmi Vala got control of the ball when Abraham Alguacil tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 80th minute, Orbay Samin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, GÖZTEPE SK's Orbay Samin got a free kick in the 81st minute. GÖZTEPE SK's Rahmi Vala played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miguel Miralles in the 94th minute of play. Marcos Cotilla didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when GÖZTEPE SK's Adriano De Lellis shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 3-2 in the ordered_time% minute. The GÖZTEPE SK support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
