Marcos Cotilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sang Gama in the 4th minute of the match. Marcos Cotilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sang Gama, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Lekko Spoceni's zone, Abraham Alguacil stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mikolaj Szotek came out of the goal and Abraham Alguacil tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sang Gama in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcos Cotilla saved Panama from getting behind. 15 minutes into the game, Sang Gama recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Marcos Cotilla. Sang Gama showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Wojciech Malicki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Marcos Cotilla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sang Gama struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Marcos Cotilla didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lekko Spoceni. Marcos Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sang Gama, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcos Cotilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sang Gama in the 34th minute of the match. If Sang Gama had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 44th minute, Sang Gama made a precise shot to the right of Marcos Cotilla. Panama's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sang Gama stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Desiderio Ibañez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcos Cotilla having to interfere. In the 61st match minute, Panama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Carita to maneuver through the defense. Lekko Spoceni's Marc-André Van Bastén was substituted for Sang Gama. Jose Carita kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. A collision led to Panama getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Alex Cambeiro hit a great ball. Felipe Ros's late challenge caught a Lekko Spoceni's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Felipe Ros helped the player get up and apologised. In the 69th match minute, Panama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felipe Ros to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isidoro Sarmiento in the 73rd minute of play forced Lekko Spoceni's goalkeeper Mikolaj Szotek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Eder Aleixo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lekko Spoceni's supporters rose to their feet, but Eder Aleixo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcos Cotilla breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eder Aleixo in the 81st minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Abraham Alguacil got free with Mikolaj Szotek in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marc-André Van Bastén in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcos Cotilla prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 92 minutes into the game, Marc-André Van Bastén cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Marcos Cotilla was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 96 played minutes Lekko Spoceni got a freekick which was hit by Desiderio Ibañez. Lekko Spoceni's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
