The supporters of Brokopondo booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lorenzo Cazalla didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kazimierz Falkowski in the 26th minute of play. Brokopondo's Eugeniusz Czapski managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Leonardo Leoz in the 30 minute of the game. Joel Gaona succeeded in the game's 38th minute to get real power on a long shot . Brokopondo's Mauro Esteves hadn't the time to block the shot which was pasted into the goal, 1-2! 42 minutes into the match, Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Stefan Bejrut. In the 47th minute, Tobiasz Derlanga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Brokopondo getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Tobiasz Derlanga hit a great ball.

The wind increased when Joel Gaona made the kick off in the second half. Mauro Esteves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luca Zorita in the 52nd minute of the match. In the 58th minute Facundo Cadaval shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauro Esteves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stefan Bejrut in the 61st minute of play. Brokopondo's 정 남 was substituted for Stefan Bejrut. Brokopondo made a substitution.
