Mexico's Dante Lacasa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Mexico from getting a goal against them. Ladislav Lomnický made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Facundo Cadaval in the 35th minute of play. If Luca Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ladislav Lomnický showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 41st minute of the match. In the 42nd minute Facundo Cadaval shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ladislav Lomnický saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joel Gaona in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ladislav Lomnický prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 74 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Ľubomír Smatana came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 75th minute, Luca Zorita fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Lautaro Mancebo took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ladislav Lomnický. Ladislav Lomnický dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. If Luca Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 84 minutes into the match, UFC Pivnica's goalkeeper Ladislav Lomnický had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lautaro Mancebo. Thanks to some nice moves Felix Luque could shoot a difficult shot in the 87th minute, which Ladislav Lomnický however easily saved by the left post. After 88 minutes of play, UFC Pivnica's Viktor Kasarda made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dante Lacasa was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ladislav Lomnický was out of position in the 90 minute of play, and Alberto Tafalla capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Alberto Tafalla really showed his touch with that goal: 1-4. In the 93rd minute, Alberto Tafalla got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pavol Rybnický struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Dante Lacasa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for UFC Pivnica. The UFC Pivnica fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Mexico were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
