An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 29th minute of play forced CEGIA CREW's goalkeeper Clemente Manco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 30th minute Cyryl Borucki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 35th minute, CEGIA CREW's Lucjan Kostrzewski ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Rolando Noboa. Rolando Noboa yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Clemente Manco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Nestor Lauaxeta scored 2-0 in the 46th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rolando Noboa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cyryl Borucki stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Clemente Manco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 58th minute of play. Joaquin Prats kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucjan Kostrzewski, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Haydar Genişyürek in the 66th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julian Murillo struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Clemente Manco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Peru. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Julian Murillo in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Clemente Manco saved CEGIA CREW from getting behind. 87 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Haydar Genişyürek came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the CEGIA CREW defense, Luz Tejedor kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Clemente Manco. The CEGIA CREW fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Clemente Manco should have stopped the shot. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Moises Gayoso. Peru made a substitution.
