When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mihai Gherase made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mariano Lacasa got free with Oscar Frascuelo in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Chile booed when Octavia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tales Fernandez didn't get a good kick on the ball.
