Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Venezuela's Tomas Illescas started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 2 minutes into the game, 鲁挺帆 was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cylon's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Venezuela the free kick. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Cylon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. 鲁挺帆 didn't get a good kick on the ball. 6 minutes into the game, Guillermo Mariano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Venezuela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cylon the free kick. In the 6th minute, Guillermo Mariano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 林城谦 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patricio Costa, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. In the 15th minute, Tomas Illescas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Cylon getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. 沈然弘 hit a great ball. In the 20th match minute, Cylon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 姚广邦 to maneuver through the defense. Rigoberto Mina hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. 沈迪志 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 沈然弘 kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Tomas Illescas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 46th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 林城谦 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 47 played minutes Cylon got a freekick which was hit by 姚广邦. 林城谦 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patricio Costa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 50th minute of the match Venezuela got a corner. Cylon's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tomas Illescas ran over to the corner to take the kick. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but 林城谦 in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for 汪飞文 to strike the kick off in the second half. Tomas Illescas might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over 林城谦. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomas Illescas ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patricio Costa in the 59th minute of play forced Cylon's goalkeeper 林城谦 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 沈迪志, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 67th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rigoberto Mina to maneuver through the defense. Cylon's 龙钢超 was substituted for 汪飞文. Cylon's 庄志政 was substituted for 宋傲远. After 70 played minutes, Cylon's 马远银 shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cylon reached it. After a rather tough play, Cylon's 沈然弘 got a free kick in the 74th minute. Tomas Illescas, 75 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 林城谦 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 77th minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 龙钢超 in the 79th minute of the match. 林城谦 made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomas Illescas in the 81st minute. 唐昂源 took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. In the 85th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guillermo Mariano to maneuver through the defense. In the 90th minute 龙钢超 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Venezuela's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Cylon had won, even though Venezuela had held more of the ball.
