After having played for 9 minutes, Patricio Costa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Patricio Costa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 林城谦 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. In the 16th minute, 汪飞文 got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Cylon getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. 姚广邦 hit a great ball. Venezuela's goalkeeper couldn't reach when 沈迪志 28 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. When Cylon's 沈迪志 in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Venezuela's goalie prevented a goal. Tomas Illescas hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. A collision led to Cylon getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. 汪飞文 hit a great ball. In the 43rd minute of the match Camilo Gaos sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but 林城谦 skillfully saved the ball. Venezuela's defense didn't have a chance, in the 44th minute, when 沈迪志 scored to the left of an out of position Jonathan Ferrant, making the score, 2-0.

Cylon's 汪飞文 got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Patricio Costa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but 林城谦 read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. Tomas Illescas's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 55thth minute, 林城谦 skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 59 minutes, Guillermo Mariano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the Cylon players grew even worse after the yellow card. Guillermo Mariano hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Cylon's 庄志政 was substituted for 宋傲远. A collision led to Cylon getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. 姚广邦 hit a great ball. In the 72nd minute, Patricio Costa made a precise shot to the right of 林城谦. Cylon's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. A throw-in in the 75th minute of the game was made by 姚广邦 with 沈迪志 as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, 龙钢超 managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cylon's supporters rose to their feet, but 龙钢超 was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 沈迪志 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Guillermo Mariano kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 沈迪志, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
