Adrian Txanton charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adrian Txanton the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After having played for 17 minutes, Justino Bastia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. EL REY DE LA CARNE's supporters crossed their fingers, but Justino Bastia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Justino Bastia succeeded in the game's 20th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. Adrian Txanton's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 23rdth minute, Julio Vera skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agustín Saelices in the 27th minute of play forced EL REY DE LA CARNE's goalkeeper Baltasar Santana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 29th minute of the match, Justino Bastia tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Julio Vera saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniel Zorita in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Baltasar Santana prevented the ball from getting in the gole. EL REY DE LA CARNE's Baltasar Santana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 35th minute of play. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Baltasar Santana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, EL REY DE LA CARNE's Jacinto Machado got a free kick in the 42nd minute. EL REY DE LA CARNE's Baltasar Santana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 43rd minute of play. After 46 minutes, Teofilo Atauri mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the EL REY DE LA CARNE and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. Teofilo Atauri kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Adrian Txanton to strike the kick off in the second half. The referee ignored Ecuador's protests and gave Felix Montenegro a yellow card for diving instead. In the 73rd minute, Felix Montenegro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of EL REY DE LA CARNE booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position.
