Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Călin Agulescu kicked off to start the match. When the match clock showed 4 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Tomas Illescas sped through UFC Mahmudie's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Cristinel Vrejiu. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Cristinel Vrejiu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Claudiu Coidum's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. A collision led to UFC Mahmudie getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Gigel Alecu hit a great ball. The supporters of Venezuela booed when UFC Mahmudie was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gigel Alecu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 20 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Patricio Costa. Claudiu Coidum could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jonathan Venegas got a free kick in the 25th minute. In the 29th minute, Jose Correa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claudiu Coidum, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tomas Illescas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cristinel Vrejiu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Călin Agulescu in the 42nd minute. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. 47 minutes into the match, UFC Mahmudie's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Cristinel Vrejiu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Venezuela were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomas Illescas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes in the game Gigel Alecu did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Dinu Olariu. Olimpiu Barbăneagră kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Cristinel Vrejiu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tomas Illescas went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind UFC Mahmudie's goalkeeper Cristinel Vrejiu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 68 minutes into the match, Claudiu Coidum notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Tomas Illescas's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 74thth minute, Cristinel Vrejiu skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 82nd minute, Claudiu Coidum got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 85 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Venegas. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adrian Antoniu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 92 minutes into the game, UFC Mahmudie's Adrian Antoniu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. In the 97th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomas Illescas to maneuver through the defense.
