Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Cristian Sancho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wiliam Simão read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 18 minutes into the match, Anıl Şahan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Anıl Şahan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Anıl Şahan got free with Julio Vera in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Cristian Sancho came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Sancho couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Cruzmaltinos FC - DMZ booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luis Andino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Juan Aleso could shoot a difficult shot in the 28th minute, which Julio Vera however easily saved by the left post. Juan Aleso's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 32ndth minute, Julio Vera skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Daniel Zorita fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Wiliam Simão quite easily take care of the ball. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 39th minute of the game. One of Ecuador:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Cruzmaltinos FC - DMZ:s goal. When the match had been going on for 41 minutes, Cruzmaltinos FC - DMZ's Juan Aleso got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Julio Vera. The audience was convinced that Anıl Şahan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Cruzmaltinos FC - DMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silas de Brito didn't get a good kick on the ball. The wind increased when Anıl Şahan made the kick off in the second half. Cristian Sancho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Wiliam Simão having to make a save. After 56 minutes of play, Ecuador's Agustín Saelices made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wiliam Simão was left in no man's land by his defense there! Wiliam Simão made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target. In the 67th minute, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-3. A collision led to Cruzmaltinos FC - DMZ getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Artur de Andrade hit a great ball. Diego Souza blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Julio Vera having to make a save. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diego Souza in the 72nd minute of play. Juan Aleso kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Luis Andino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 87th minute Cruzmaltinos FC - DMZ were awarded a corner. Artur de Andrade went to the cornerflag to take it.
