Chippenham's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. Felix Montenegro was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Chippenham's 杨远益 got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 15th minute of play forced Chippenham's goalkeeper 肖崇天 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 16 minutes had been played when some careless play by Chippenham's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. When the match had gone on for 16 minutes, Luis Andino put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of 肖崇天. Barry Fox's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fitz Beck's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. 肖崇天 made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Sancho in the 82nd minute. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 90thth minute of the game Kris Morning who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cristian Sancho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without 肖崇天 having to make a save. The Chippenham fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
