When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Abram Sarmiento made a kick off. Ender Tanacan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abram Secada, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kevin Mastache's late challenge caught a 1461 Trabzon's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kevin Mastache helped the player get up and apologised. In the 88th match minute, Colombia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kevin Mastache to maneuver through the defense.
