Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Franco Beccari kicked off to start the match. Omar Abadia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. After some careless play in the Barbudos FC defense, Alberto Tafalla kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Omar Abadia. The Barbudos FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Omar Abadia should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Barbudos FC getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Severino Rojas hit a great ball. The supporters of Mexico booed when Barbudos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Federico Celipe didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 16th minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Omar Abadia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Omar Abadia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Omar Abadia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 30 minutes in the game Macos Graciani did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Facundo Cadaval. In the 31st minute, Alberto Tafalla left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mexico fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. 38 minutes into the match, Barbudos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Omar Abadia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 41 minutes, Alberto Tafalla put it in 1-3 from a short distance just to the right of Omar Abadia. In the 46th minute, Franco Beccari left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Barbudos FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 2-3 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joel Gaona to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute of the match, Lautaro Mancebo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Omar Abadia was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Omar Abadia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 57 played minutes Barbudos FC got a freekick which was hit by Teofilo Ermano. Macos Graciani took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 58th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Omar Abadia. Barbudos FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gareth Bala in the 72nd minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Franco Beccari had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Franco Beccari recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alberto Tafalla got free with Omar Abadia in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Barbudos FC's Severino Rojas got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Omar Abadia came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Mexico's Alberto Tafalla. But to his dismay, Alberto Tafalla quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-5. In the 92nd play minute Facundo Cadaval came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Omar Abadia. 2-6. Barbudos FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gareth Bala in the 96th minute. When the match was over Mexico could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Barbudos FC throughout the match.
