Jaime Pardo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Felix Vorniceanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Felix Vorniceanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaime Pardo in the 17th minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, -BZF- Barca de Buzau's goal looked a bit too open when Jaime Pardo came free, but Felix Vorniceanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. -BZF- Barca de Buzau's Felix Vorniceanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaime Pardo in the 20th minute of play. Paraguay's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jaime Pardo in the 21st minute. A collision led to Paraguay getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Jose Sanz hit a great ball. Felix Vorniceanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jaime Pardo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 24 minutes into the game, Paraguay's Hector Covarrubias nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Felix Vorniceanu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hector Covarrubias in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Felix Vorniceanu saved -BZF- Barca de Buzau from getting behind. Xavier Zoido fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felix Vorniceanu having to interfere. In the 40th minute, Hector Covarrubias got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 41 minutes into the match, Jaime Pardo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Felix Vorniceanu. -BZF- Barca de Buzau's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jaime Pardo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. 47 minutes into the match, Jaime Pardo notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of -BZF- Barca de Buzau's Felix Vorniceanu. Felix Vorniceanu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The -BZF- Barca de Buzau players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Paraguay were winning 0-5.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Valeriu Băcioiu made a kick off. Primitivo Escribano received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Felix Vorniceanu came out and tried to block the shot, but Primitivo Escribano slotted it home off the left post making it 0-6 in the 54th minute. Hector Covarrubias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felix Vorniceanu having to interfere. If Hector Covarrubias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jaime Pardo might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Felix Vorniceanu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jaime Pardo ran back to his position shaking his head. When the match had gone on for 66 minutes, Jaime Pardo took a quick shot and it went in 0-7 without a chance for Felix Vorniceanu to make any attempt to save it. 69 minutes into the match, -BZF- Barca de Buzau's goalkeeper Felix Vorniceanu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jaime Pardo. After 71st play minutes Jaime Pardo shot 0-8, a short shot which went by Felix Vorniceanu and just under the crossbar into goal. Felix Vorniceanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jaime Pardo, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Primitivo Escribano kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Felix Vorniceanu. That made the score 0-9 in the 79 minute of play. In the 82nd minute, Jaime Pardo made a precise shot to the right of Felix Vorniceanu. -BZF- Barca de Buzau's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-10. In the 86th minute, Jaime Pardo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Paraguay fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-11. 89 minutes into the match, Jaime Pardo notched a goal, 0-12, to the right of -BZF- Barca de Buzau's Felix Vorniceanu. Felix Vorniceanu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jaime Pardo in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Felix Vorniceanu prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
