Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Abelardo Macías prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 10 minutes into the match, Plaza Babys CF's Yasin Saleh sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 12 minutes into the match, Plaza Babys CF's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Abelardo Macías reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Yasin Saleh recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Plaza Babys CF's Abelardo Macías played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 16th minute of play. After 18 minutes of play, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Abelardo Macías was left in no man's land by his defense there! Abelardo Macías took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Yasin Saleh's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. If Yasin Saleh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Aparicio Ladra kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aparicio Ladra was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Plaza Babys CF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roi Morales didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Plaza Babys CF's Abelardo Macías got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. Plaza Babys CF's Filippo Celli was substituted for Pietro Echavarri. Plaza Babys CF's Bo Kristiansson was substituted for Aparicio Ladra. Yasin Saleh kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Plaza Babys CF's goalie and right to Luis Andino. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Plaza Babys CF's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 92nd match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Montenegro to maneuver through the defense.
